On most M cars, lightweight flywheels are a controversial modification subjective to noise & daily drivability tolerances.
I was anxious to fit this to my S85 SMG3. It is, after all, just a manual transmission with an hydraulic pump!
In this Special Series on the V10's Build Journal, I document the unboxing, installation and driving impressions with this flywheel fitted.

New bolts are required
The TTV flywheel is designed to fit with 9x Grade 12.9 bolts in M12x1.5x35mm dimensions. I used the ARP bolt kit #: 764-1003.
"I was impressed by how smooth it works and how fast it was through the RPMs."
The installation is relatively straight forward, for a professional. I don't consider this an easy DIY.
Chat with your local mechanical to determine if any useful while you're-in-there maintenance is useful.
The entry "It's science bro!" covers my first impression and long term review over 9 months and 15,000KM with the flywheel and carbon driveshaft combination. I discern the benefits between both and set the expectations right.
Been there, done that.
