These CSL airboxes are complex - the engineering & design expertise is not only for reliability, but also performance.
The Haimus Racing kit has visibly gone through many revisions to ultimately reach this current state of design.
My airbox was another step for Antonio as he introduced the Frozen matte finish: it's a beautiful piece of kit.
I documented every step and options an often misunderstood upgrade for the S5: buying the airbox is only half the way there.

Engineered for reliability & performance
In collaboration with Antonio, I detail my unboxing impressions and cover every little details on his CSL airbox design.
The transparency in his approach to design, and the unique performance & reliability features made this airbox my choice on The Phoenix build.
They create more midrange power then any OEM CSL replica airbox from 3000 to 7500 rpm.
All fittings are physically locked into the carbon housings with a thread and custom nut.
The IAT Sensor bung is placed closer to the front of the airbox compared to the OE design. This has been proven to avoid heat soak issues.
You can spec your airbox in a combination of Gloss or Matte clear coat and stickers under the clear.
The finish warranty varies from 3 to 5 years depending on your finishing specs.
Pre-preg carbon is used for its superior tensile strength & enables a thin walled construction for optimal sound.
