No core exchange required.
Your original trims and airbag will need to be transfered over.

Craftsmanship:

The original leather is fully removed before the new material is upholstered.
The original foam is retained and inspected for imperfections.

No hardware is required. You will need to transfer your current wheel trims and airbag to this new steering wheel.

Make it blank!

Being a pre-MK60 DSC car, I opted to delete the multi-function upper trim on my CSL redux steering wheel.

It's a little something that goes towards the simplified driving experience I'm going for.

Sourcing a quality steering isn't actually easy.

Local shops require core exchange services, extended requiring downtime and increased costs.

Others do rewrap that are far too thick while China has flooded the market with sketchy carbon wheels.

BMW has unfortunately discontinued the original SKU 32347919218.

In this Special Series, I document my experiences sourcing 2x steering wheels from Germany and it evolved into this new product.
