Engineered for the E46's transmission tunnel.

The V2's revised carbon tube diameter is made specifically for the E46 M3.

Winded, pre-preg carbon fiber.

The carbon filaments are sourced from Toray Industries, and the tubes are finished with the signature gold filament.

It doesn't vibrate, at any speeds.

The original flex disc (guibo) is re-used, and acts as a critical vibration dampening component.

It can still flex.

The constant velocity flange has 22mm of range to absorb driveline movement.

    • Signature yellow braided filament 
    • High temperature adhesives. 
  • V3 design update:
    • Revised carbon tube diameter to increase transmission tunnel clearances. 
    • Revised transmission flange design with increased bolt clearances and lighter weight.
    • The flange's updated design clears the SMG2 actuators.
  • Weight:
    • OE: +/- 21.6 lbs
    • Carbon: +/- 12 lbs (6spd)
  • Proprietary transmission flange design: 
    • Transmission flange retains use of flexdisc/guibo to eliminate vibrations. 
    • Patented locking mechanism to prevent tube slippage. 
    • Machined from 7075 forged aluminum
  • Constant-Velocity (CV) telescopic flange
    • Heat treated
    • 22mm total movement forward/backward to absorb driveline shock. 
  • Complete assembly balancing:
    • The driveshaft is balanced with the guibo.  
    • The kit includes a new OE guibo with new Genuine BMW TTY bolts, self-locking nuts and CV differential flange bolts

As of 2025, the carbon driveshaft is now balanced with a new OE guibo. 

The kit also includes new Genuine BMW TTY bolts, self-locking nuts and CV differential flange bolts.

Installation Procedures

The installation of the carbon driveshaft is relatively straight forward with a few simple tricks. There are key validation protocols to ensure a successful installation.
