The M3 V8 marked a drastic departure from the E46 M3 suspension philosophy dating back to the E30. It introduced an entirely redesigned multi-link suspension with new front & rear subframes.

It was the first of its kind for BMW M. Over 15 years later, the G8x M3/4 retain similar architectures, with various improvements.

Since 2021, I have been fine tuning my V8's chassis with incremental changes, understanding the effects of every little changes - with more visits to the rack than I can remember.
