Back in the early 2000s, S54s were heavily raced in Grand-Am. The series mandated flywheel designs that could only be 20% lighter than original.
TTV Racing took on the challenge and designed a flywheel that optimized central mass reduction.
In theory, this should make an ideal street flywheel, enough weight to retain drivability, but enough taken off to make a difference.
In this Series, I document my experiences with TTV's S54 Clubsport kit and the GrandAm flywheel.
