BMW M first started solid mounting rear subframes with the M3 GTS to great effects, and no downsides.
Improved chassis response.
The solid bushings eliminate plate on the rear subframe, upon which rests the entire rear suspension and the differential.
No extra NVH.
The solid mounted rear subframe does not added *any* NVH, nor differential whine.
Machined from billet aluminum.
The bushings are machined from 6061 aluminum billet, with pocketed sections for reduced weight.
