The S65 intake design was arguably the most well optimized intake BMW M has ever created for a naturally aspirated engine.
Creating something objectively better was a technical challenge many promised they'd overcome, and few delivered.
In this Special Series, I look back at BMW M's sealed intake history and take a deep dive into the technical features of this unique sealed intake by InfinityDesign.
I briefly cover installation notes and record video clips of the increased induction noise. Most importantly, we will put this design to the test on the dyno with the S65-EVO.
