The shell weighs 4.9 kg (10.8 lbs) on its own, and +/- 7.3 kg (16.0 lbs) with the padding installed.

Coding notes.
Coding will be required to eliminate various sensor faults in the seats. It can be optionally provided via remote coding.
Hardware notes.
We provide the hardware to install the tensioner to the Recaro brackets. Spare Recaro hardware is also provided for height adjustments.

Optional Bespoke Pad Kits
The pads from the Podiums are disassembled and the original foams are used to created bespoke inserts at a lesser cost than new pad kits.

A uniquely modern bucket.
The Podium FIA was an audacious bucket seat development, even for Recaro.
It aimed at created a unique seat for Clubsport enthusiasts: combining homologation for the track and the street.
It was no small feat, but the upholstery options remain limited due to the competition requirements.
In this Series, I will document my unboxing, and our blueprint to develop a new style as part of our Bespoke Recaro Seat Program.
