The boots are designed with the bolt "stoppers" to have the right angles to access the ITB clamps.
Silicone over rubber.
The synthetic make up of silicone retains its shape in an extreme range of temperatures, and over time versus the OEM units in rubber.
Worm style clamps are included.
They replace the lower one-time-use Genuine BMW clamps.

The fix to an annoyance.
I've had some on/off issues with rubber boots easily deforming, most due to my own installation errors.
A series of limp code due to air leaks were the result. It's an annoyance that can be fixed.
As part of my Special Series on the S85-EVO, I documented the replacement of OEM units with these new silicone ITB boots as we wrapped up the re-assembly.
