On mosts car, lightweight flywheels are a controversial modification subjective to noise & daily drivability tolerances.
Coming from my traumatic "bolts-in-a-blender" JB Racing aluminum flywheel in my S54, and a great experience with the TTV flywheel on my S65 DCT, I was anxious to fit this to my S85 SMG3.
It is, after all, just a manual transmission with an hydraulic pump!
In this Special Series on the V10's Build Journal, I document experiments developing my blueprint for my S85's ultimate reponse program.

The TTV flywheel is designed to fit with Grade 12.9 bolts in M12x1.5x35mm dimensions. I used the ARP bolt kit #: 764-1003.
