Back in 2010, we were used to titanium exhausts using sectional “caterpillar” style welds - using multiple pieces of titanium to create bends.

Akrapovic landed on the automotive world starting with the E9X M3 and Porsche 997 GT3 world in 2010.

Nobody expected it. It felt unfair, yet mesmerizing.

If the exhaust market were the Olympic games: this was Usain Bolt.

In this upcoming Special Series, I will document my unboxing impressions, my quest for a once-discontinued, used X pipe, my driving impressions and it's revival.
