Specifications:

The original BMW M5 Alcantara Rear Shelf is unfortunately discontinued.
- The Anthracite Alcantara will discolor to green over time due to UV exposure.
I have created this service to bring your rear shelf back to like new condition.
- Pricing does not include shipping to us. I can arrange a label and pick up if required.
- If you are not in North America, I can source a used core for reduced cost and delays. Please reach out.
Bespoke recovering in Genuine Alcantara.
- 9002 Anthracite is used to match the original BMW

OE level quality:
- The original rear shelf is stripped, sanded down and repaired if needed.
- The side edges are cut as factory to ensure no bulging overlaps between panels.
- All accessories sections are precisely cut out.
  - We can also fill out the heat rest and seat belt cut outs for owners with rear seat deletes.
- All your original trims and accessories are re-fitted.

For 2 generations, the carbon roof was purely a Coupé feature: the E46 CSL, E92 and E63 had it.

BMW M did develop a carbon panel for the CSL V10 prototype, yet they painted it.

It's time to re-imagine this one.

In this Special Series, I document the development, fitment and final auxiliary hardware installation of the new exclusive carbon roof panel. I touch on the interior work of the slicktop headliner and rear shelf.
