When I bought the S54 powered E46 M3, I told myself I'd Stay Melo. If I needed my fix for NA power, I'd grab the keys to the V10.

And then I got to drive the E46 M3 with the CSL airbox and Supersprint complete 63.5mm exhaust.

It was this close to having enough power, but it just wasn't enough.

In this Special Series, I document my quest for optimizing stock displacement power out with Schrick's 288/280 cams and MAP engine tuning.
