It's lighter.

The YFCM carbon driveshaft weights 11 lbs for the 6spd and 13 lbs for the MDCT, saving 12 lbs of drivetrain mass. They can sustain torsional forces up to 5500nm / 4000 ft lbs.

It's stronger.

The YFCM carbon tube is winded from pre-preg carbon fiber and can sustain up to 4000 ft lbs / 5500nm of torque.

It can still flex.

The rear CV flange is oiled, telescopic and heat treated, helping to absorb drivetrain shock in hard driving conditions.

It's vibration free.

The 1 piece design retains the use of the flex disc on the transmission output shaft, a critical component to remaining street friendly.

Installation Procedures

The installation of the YFCM carbon driveshaft is relatively straight forward with a few simple tricks. There are key validation protocols to ensure a successful installation.

Patented Flange Design

The flange is a self-locking, sealed design: it locks over the carbon tube. It eliminates all probabilities for the tube to spin free of the flange, no matter the torque.
