Improved seal.
The cap is fitted with OEM style locking metal tabs and a new Genuine BMW seal. It has a twisting mechanism to push the seal further against the valve covers.
Subtle anodized aesthetics*
I opted for the OEM-like black anodized finish. You can optionally spec blue or red.
CNC machined in the USA.
The oil caps are machined and anodized in the USA from billet aluminum or Grade 5 titanium.
Fits most M and non-M engines.
The cap is designed to replace Genuine BMW SKUs 11128655331 and 11121405452.

We each have our own build goals, mine were focused on driving experiences. I also never had oil cap leakage issues as experienced by other M owners.
As such, sourcing nor developing a CNC'ed oil cap was at the top of my list. When Winston pinged me with this new product, I just said "Why not?".
In this Special Series, I document my experiences unboxing and fitting the oil cap. It's a refreshingly light series these days!
