The E9X M3 was the last generation of the fat & ugly 1 piston floating calipers: another BMW M brain fart in engineering. It’s been on my list forever - but shelling out 9,000$ for my Street oriented goals was a non starter.
I have been collaborating with Antonio @ Haimus Racing to bring to market a world class custom brake kit for our platform. Months in the making, the kit checks all the boxes I had in mind.
The Custom Clubsport Kit shaves 24.2 lbs of unsprung mass, increases braking performance and finally suits the aesthetics of the M3.Matt / @m3_epoustouflant

In collaboration with Antonio @ Haimus Racing, we will take a deep dive into the caliper selection and its benefits.
What was planned to be a single technical article covering these has expanded into 4 different journal entries. I'm currently wrapping up the last entries.
The kit comes with 2 piece semi-floating 362x32mm front and optional 355x32mm rear rotors.
2024 heat treated, anodized billet aluminun machined for weight optimization.
Machine from heat treated 7075 aluminum and finished in corrosion resistant black anodizing.
The kit includes everything you need: brake pads, mounting harware, brackets, pins and new brake lines.
The kit is currently in beta testing
by EuroConnex members.
